The season is just a few weeks old but managers in LaLiga are ready to step away over an ongoing dispute.

Managers in Spain feel aggrieved after several clubs failed to pay their sacked bosses compensation.

Clubs in LaLiga are able to sack their head coach and withhold severance pay until a hearing is held and an agreement reached over the amount they are owed.

But that has caused issues with managers demanding pay immediately following their dismissal.

Several managers have been affected including Quique Setien and Alvaro Cervera, who were sacked by Barcelona and Oviedo respectively.

Managers are not happy with the situation and are believed to have discussed the issue at their annual meeting this week, according to Marca.

And in a bid to resolve problem, managers including Ancelotti and Flick are prepared to threaten a strike when they meet with LaLiga chiefs.

Around 40 managers are said to be willing to strike, including Atletico Madrid boss Diego Simeone.

The action has been triggered by the cases of Setien and Cervera.

The former had to threaten legal action to force Barcelona to pay up, which they did.

The Spanish giants have been plagued by financial woes in recent years but were helped out by club legend Xavi, who waived his right to compensation after being sacked at the end of last season.
