Their ability to shut out opponents has provided the foundation for their improvement this season, with their 12 wins so far already surpassing their total of seven in the entirety of 2023/24.
Goalkeeper Robin Zentner has been key to his side’s defensive solidity, saving 80 shots, the third-highest tally in the league, and recording a league-best goalkeeper efficiency of +8.0. It’s no wonder the 30-year-old is being touted for a Germany call-up.
