Although Arsenal’s most recent financial results indicated that they lost money in the financial year 2023/2024, they actually made a profit when it comes to the Premier League’s PSR requirements.
That is because items like infrastructure expenses and the cost of running the women’s team are all taken into account for PSR purposes and are essentially deductible.
And all that means is that the main limiting factor when it comes to the next transfer window is how much they want to spend.
Already there are pans for at least one new striker, another winger and a back-up goalkeeper, whilst a deal to sign defensive midfielder Martin Zubímendi from Real Sociedad is close to being agreed,
There will be plenty of outgoings as well – Thomas Partey, Jorginho and Kieran Tierney are all set ot leave the club, whilst Raheem Sterling and Neto will see the end of their loan moves.
