Liverpool fans all expressed the exact same concern as a teammate after seeing Mo Salah’s post on social media.
Salah is arguably having the best season of his career, with an incredible 30 goals and 22 assists in all competitions for the Reds putting him well in contention for the 2025 Ballon d’Or.
He set up Alexis Mac Allister for Liverpool‘s second goal against Newcastle on Wednesday in a 2-0 win which moved Arne Slot’s 13 points clear at the top and a step closer to a 20th league title.
Salah is chasing a second league crown after the 2019/20 success under Jurgen Klopp and is resting up this weekend – with Liverpool not in FA Cup action after being knocked out by Championship strugglers Plymouth Argyle in the fourth round.
He will be in action on Wednesday when Liverpool take on Paris Saint-Germain in the Champions League round of 16 first leg at the Parc des Princes.
But the Egyptian, who is out of contract in the summer, has worried Liverpool supporters with a post on social media.
On Instagram and X, formerly known as Twitter, Salah shared a picture of him putting up decorations for the Muslim holy month of Ramadan.

Salah was balancing on the end of his sofa in one of the snaps with his daughter and it prompted Ibrahima Konate to jump in the comments to write, “Brother be careful please”.
But Konate wasn’t alone, with Liverpool supporters fearing possible injury to their talisman and urging him to be safe.
One fan on X said: “Get down off that couch you mad bastard, there is a league title to be won.”
A second commented: “Can we provide a safety net for Mo please.”
Another added: “Ibou speaks for all of us.”
A fourth replied: “Freak injury when Mo gets wrapped up in bunting!”
Premier League introduce breaks for Ramadan
In 2023, the Premier League announced that during Ramadan, referees will pause games to allow Muslim players to break their fast.
Stars like Salah and Konate abstain from eating and drinking during daylight hours, which means they must break their fast after sunset.
Last year, Liverpool’s game against Sheffield United was temporarily halted to allow for the fast to be broken and food and drink to be consumed.
