A Liverpool star has been told to leave the club in the summer after his ‘angry’ reaction to Arne Slot was spotted on Wednesday.
Having beaten reigning champions Manchester City on Sunday, the Reds took another important step towards the title with a 2-0 victory over Newcastle at Anfield.
Goals from Dominik Szoboszlai and Alexis Mac Allister moved Liverpool 13 points clear of Arsenal at the top of the table having played a game more.
But despite heading towards a second Premier League title, one Liverpool star has been told to move on after failing to enter the fray against the Magpies.
Slot used all five substitutions on Wednesday, with Cody Gakpo, Wataru Endo, Jarell Quansah, Darwin Nunez and Curtis Jones all being brought on.

“The trouble is for players like Harvey Elliott, I watched him and I was really impressed with what I saw,” Sherwood said on Sky Sports’ Gillette Soccer Special.
The other boys are coming onto the pitch, he’s made five subs there, and still no Harvey Elliott and you know, he’s not happy. He sat there and his face was so angry and annoyed.”
“I quite admire that. You know, that boy is not going to sit there and just not play.”
Szoboszlai, Mac Allister and Jones have all been ahead of Elliott in the pecking order, who has been benched 12 times this season.
Elliott was injured for the first three months of the season and has only made four starts in all competitions, with none coming in the Premier League.

He will still be entitled to a medal if Liverpool go on to win the Premier League but Sherwood believes he will be thinking about moving on given the lack of gametime.
The 56-year-old added: “He will want to leave that football club, I know it’s a brilliant club if he can fight his way into the team, but if he’s not going to play on a regular basis.
They’ve got players like that and you need players like that, who want to play and want to affect it. At the moment, a top-quality player like him is sitting there and he’s getting no game time.
“If you don’t play and listen, he would be happy picking up a trophy and a medal but in the end, he will want to contribute a lot more than what he’s done.”
In January Elliott was linked with Brighton and Borussia Dortmund but stressed he would not be leaving, telling Amazon Prime: “This is my club, I’m a massive fan, you know, and we’re in a great position so far this season”.
Liverpool paid around £1.5 million to sign Elliott from Fulham, plus a further £2.8 million in bonuses in line with the required compensation.
