Chelsea have been going through a tough run of results under Enzo Maresca having won just four times across their last 13 matches.

The Blues did bounce back with a 4-0 win over Southampton last week, however, just four points separate them from tenth place Aston Villa.

But amid a mixed campaign of results, there have been several individual performances which have impressed Terry and one of those players is someone who has improved a lot.

John Terry has selected Noni Madueke in his top three Chelsea performers this season and has been really impressed with how much he has improved.

The £29m winger has eight goals and four assists to his name this term, which has already seen him match his goal tally for his first campaign at Stamford Bridge.

When asked to name his top three Chelsea players this season, Terry told DR Sports: “Well, Cole (Palmer) sticks out straight away and I think Enzo (Fernandez) has been very good.

The former Chelsea captain also revealed how impressed he has been with the improvement of Madueke “Noni (Madueke), I think, has done well this year, he’s done a lot better and been really direct. I like (Pedro) Neto as well.”

Madueke is currently struggling with a hamstring injury and has been tipped to be replaced by Tyrique George who has impressed Marseca in training.
