Danny Welbeck has played with the likes of Wayne Rooney, Harry Kane, Dimitar Berbatov and Cristiano Ronaldo over the years.
Welbeck is enjoying a resurgence in his career at the moment, and speaking to Sky Sports, the striker has been discussing who his best attacking partner has been over the years.
Welbeck toyed with the idea of picking Cristiano Ronaldo, but, ultimately he chose Alexis Sanchez as his ultimate strike partner from his career.
Indeed, Welbeck says he had an incredible connection with Sanchez and he really enjoyed playing with the £32m man at Arsenal.

Welbeck spoke about his partnership with Sanchez.
The Brighton ace says that Cristiano Ronaldo was a great role model as a young player, but he actually had a better connection with Sanchez due to his ability to spot runs and pick out passes.
“Who has been your ultimate strike partner?” Welbeck was asked.
“It was amazing to see Ronaldo when he as at the training ground, how early he got in and how late he left. I didn’t play many games with him, but I trained with him for a couple of years,” Welbeck said.
“I’m going to go for Sanchez. I’m going to go for Sanchez. Do you know why? I played a lot of games with him and had a really good connection, he could spot runs and find me, we had a really good connection, I’ll go with that, I’ll go for Alexis.”

Welbeck picked Sanchez ahead of Ronaldo as his best attacking partner, and it’s easy to understand why.
Indeed, while Ronaldo is one of the best players ever, Welbeck didn’t actually work alongside the winger all that often.
Welbeck actually only played eight games with Ronaldo, and while they had an excellent record together, that is a small sample size.

Meanwhile, Welbeck played a lot more with Sanchez, and they even set each other up for a few goals, something Welbeck and Ronaldo never did.

Interestingly, neither of these two were named as the best player Welbeck ever played with.
According to the striker, Santi Cazorla is Welbeck’s best teammate.
Meanwhile, Welbeck also said Paul Scholes was incredible in training at Manchester United.
Welbeck has played with some incredible players through his career, and Sanchez is certainly one of the better players he ever shared the pitch with.
