Liverpool will be taking a 1-0 lead back to Anfield after an extraordinary victory over Paris Saint-Germain in their Champions League last-16 first leg at the Parc des Princes.
The Reds were under the cosh for most of the game as PSG dominated Arne Slot’s side, but the hosts were unable to get past an inspired Alisson Becker.
Then, in the last few minutes of the game, substitute Harvey Elliott raced into the box to slam home and complete a real smash-and-grab by Liverpool.
While Alisson received plenty of plaudits for his heroics and Elliott was lauded for his winner, Liverpool fans were also eager to praise Darwin Nunez.

Liverpool fans hail ‘chaos’ Darwin Nunez caused against PSG
Liverpool fans noted how Nunez won the aerial challenge to claim Alisson’s long ball up top, held it up and drew the PSG defence towards him.
Then, he slipped Elliott in, and the youngster – virtually unmarked – duly fired into the far corner of PSG’s net for the winner.
Liverpool fans praised Nunez for how he was once again the ‘agent of chaos’ when it comes to causing havoc among opposition defences.
One fan wrote on X: “Darwin Nunez: When the chaos becomes golden. At away games, if you have him, you play him.”
Another said: “You fight chaos with chaos. Darwin Nunez that was a great play.”
The praise for Nunez kept coming, with one supporter saying: “You beautiful beautiful man, my striker Darwin Nunez you have so much more to give! Don’t stop running Captain chaos.”
Another wrote: “Between keeping and the first touch finishing, we are forgetting the chaos that won us the game! Nunez Nunez!”
Another said: “Subs were absolutely fantastic when they came on, seemed to inject more life into us.
“Nunez needs to start up top, don’t care what anyone says. Captain chaos causes havoc to defenders simple as that. Big big win.”
How Darwin Nunez fared for Liverpool against PSG
Nunez came on in the 67th minute to replace Diogo Jota and he certainly made an impact in the 23 minutes he was on.

Nunez won two of his six duels and also chipped in with a tackle, though his key contribution was obviously his work to free Elliott up to fire in the winner.
PSG were an extremely tough nut to crack and there were many times when it looked as though they were going to win handsomely against the Reds.
However, Liverpool held firm at the back, and Nunez came on to do what he do best – cause chaos.
The outcome is a 1-0 lead for the Reds that sets up a very nice second leg later this month.
Liverpool are next in action on Saturday 8 March when they host Southampton in the Premier League.
The Reds then host PSG in the second leg of their Champions League last-16 tie on Tuesday 11 March.
