Manchester City will be bidding to make it three straight wins in all competitions when they head to Nottingham Forest in the Premier League on Saturday afternoon.

The Citizens have had a free week, with the team not in action since beating Plymouth Argyle 3-1 in the FA Cup last weekend, having been knocked out of the Champions League in the playoff round by Real Madrid.

Pep Guardiola‘s side beat Tottenham Hotspur 1-0 in their last league fixture, with the reigning champions currently fourth in the Premier League table, one point behind third-placed Forest.

Here, Sports Mole rounds up Man City’s latest injury and suspension news ahead of the contest with Forest, who have been one of the surprise packages in England’s top flight this term.

Type of injury: Knee
Possible return date: Unknown

Rodri had been expected to miss the rest of the season when he suffered a major knee injury against Arsenal towards the start of the campaign, but the Spaniard has made excellent progress in his recovery, and there is now a strong chance that the midfielder will be available for selection before the season concludes.

Possible return date: Unknown

Bobb had been gradually building up his fitness following a broken leg before picking up a minor ankle issue, which has set him back in his recovery – the attacker remains unavailable for selection, with a clear return date at this stage of proceedings being unclear.
