Manchester United have confirmed their squad for Thursday’s Europa League last-16 first leg against Real Sociedad, with both Harry Maguire and Manuel Ugarte ruled out of the European contest.
Neither Maguire nor Ugarte trained with Man United on Wednesday morning due to issues that they sustained in Sunday’s FA Cup fifth-round contest with Fulham at Old Trafford.
Ugarte was substituted in the early stages of the second period against Fulham, while Maguire went off in the final minute of normal time, allowing Ayden Heaven to make his debut.
The pair have been officially ruled out of the clash with Real Sociedad, and Man United will be missing 11 players for the contest.
However, there is a piece of positive news ahead of the first leg, with Toby Collyer back in the fold after a recent absence, and the Englishman is in line to play a part against the La Liga club.

Patrick Dorgu, meanwhile, is available amid a domestic suspension, and the Denmark international appears certain to be named in the starting side on Thursday night.
Heaven, fresh from his debut against Fulham, also has a good chance of receiving minutes due to Man United’s defensive absentees.
Lisandro Martinez, Amad Diallo, Luke Shaw, Kobbie Mainoo, Mason Mount, Altay Bayindir, Tom Heaton and Jonny Evans are also currently on the sidelines for the 20-time English champions.
Meanwhile, Chido Obi has not been registered for the competition, with the 17-year-old therefore unavailable for selection in Europe.
Dermot Mee and Elyh Harrison are the back-up goalkeepers with Bayindir and Heaton both out, while there is also a spot in the squad for 17-year-old left-back Harry Amass.
