Arsenal have been told what their chances are looking like at securing Joshua Kimmich’s signature ahead of Paris Saint-Germain and Bayern Munich.
Arsenal are interested in signing Kimmich on a free transfer with the experienced midfielder’s contract at Bayern Munich due to expire in the summer.
Paris Saint-Germain and Bayern look to be the two strongest contenders for Kimmich with his current club desperate to renew his deal.
Mikel Arteta would love to add a player of such pedigree to his squad and the North London club’s chances of getting him have been rated.
PSG expected to blow potential Arsenal offer for Joshua Kimmich out the water
Paris Saint-Germain are expected to blow any potential offer from Arsenal for Joshua Kimmich out of the water, according to Charles Watts.
The French champions are believed to be at the front of the queue to land the 30-year-old and their free transfer offer is likely to be extremely lucrative.
Bayern Munich also remain firmly in the race to keep hold of the German international.
Watts told his YouTube channel: “We know Arsenal are a club who are believed to be interested in Kimmich although PSG seem to be at the front of the queue if he decides to leave Bayern Munich. I still feel he’ll end up staying at Bayern Munich.
“But if PSG have offered him a free transfer contract, I would predict that it will be far more lucrative than any contract Arsenal may have or are planning to offer him. I’m not surprised that in Germany PSG are viewed in pole position.”
What Joshua Kimmich said about his Bayern Munich future
Kimmich was speaking about his future after Bayern Munich’s win over Bayer Leverkusen in the Champions League and admitted that other clubs are playing a role in his future.
Kimmich told the media: “Other clubs also play a role in my decision on the future. I won’t mention which clubs, but there will be a decision soon.”
The 30-year-old suggests that a decision will soon arrive and the Gunners will learn whether they have been successful or not in securing his services.
