Crystal Palace are already working on recruitment ahead of the summer transfer window.
A productive winter saw Dougie Freedman – Director of Football at Selhurst Park – bring Romain Esse to SE25 in a £14.5m move from south London rivals Millwall, while Ben Chilwell also joined on loan from Chelsea.
That latter move provided backup for Tyrick Mitchell on the left flank, although Oliver Glasner could still use another option for depth on the right to support Daniel Munoz.
Now, that area is actively being worked on, with Crystal Palace in talks to sign Bright Osayi-Samuel on a free transfer.
Crystal Palace speaking to Bright Osayi-Samuel
Africa Foot now state that Crystal Palace are holding constructive talks with the Nigeria international.
Osayi-Samuel sees his contract at Fenerbahce expire in June, and the African news outlet state that discussions over a renewal have broken down.
It is said that talks collapsed over salary disagreements, a development which has seen Crystal Palace swoop in and open negotiations with the right wing-back, who has already been offered a four-year contract by the Eagles.
Africa Foot add that Osayi-Samuel is open to joining Glasner at Selhurst Park if Fenerbahce signal an official end to contract discussions, although Fulham and Leeds United are also interested.
The 27-year-old has been a favourite under Jose Mourinho in Turkey this season, making seven starts in the UEFA Europa League and ten in the Super Lig.
Interestingly, Crystal Palace also wanted to sign Osayi-Samuel in 2020 while he was still at QPR.
Dougie Freedman could sign a friend of Eberechi Eze in Bright Osayi-Samuel
If a deal does materialise, Crystal Palace would be reuniting the man from Okija with Eberechi Eze, both of whom shone together at QPR.

In fact, Eze even said Osayi-Samuel is “like a brother” to him, telling QPR in a now-expired Instagram live feed: “Me and Bright weren’t in the same school team. We were in the same district team. It’s a blessing because you don’t usually get to work with people you’ve grown up with.
“He’s like a brother to me, so it’s good to share the field with him and it makes everything we do even more special.”
Eze and Osayi-Samuel made 66 appearances together for QPR, with more potentially to come in SE25 if Crystal Palace secure his signature on a free transfer.
