Bayern Munich has a support system…

Bayern Munich star Thomas Müller understands the ebb and flow of a football career.

In some moments, you might be on top of the world — and then in others, you could be down in the dumps.

For João Palhinha, who has come under fire for his red card during the squad’s 3-2 defeat at the hands of VfL Bochum, the pain might be real for now, but his teammates are not blaming him. In fact, they want to support him and get him through the situation.

“We will support him and encourage him,” Müller told Süddeutsche Zeitung (as captured by @iMiaSanMia).

Palhinha’s first season in Bavaria has been marred by injuries and illnesses, but his acclimation period to a new team and a new home has been slow as well. The red card incident might not help his mindset as he scuffles through this season, but at least he can take solace in the fact that he has a whole team behind him and ready to help himn push forward.
