Not good for Bayer Leverkusen…
According to a report from Kölner Stadt-Anzeiger (as captured by @iMiaSanMia), Bayer Leverkusen ace Florian Wirtz is in major doubt to face Bayern Munich on Tuesday in the Champions League:
Granit Xhaka and Edmond Tapsoba, who were subbed off against Bremen with discomforts, are expected to be fit to start against Bayern on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Florian Wirtz’s chances of being available Tuesday are very slim, even though Leverkusen have yet to announce an exact diagnosis.
Missing Wirtz would hurt Xabi Alonso’s squad, but it might also force the coach to go heavy in the attack with other players like Victor Boniface and Patrik Schick. Does Bayer Leverkusen have any chance to comeback against Bayern Munich without its best player?
