Tottenham’s all-time Premier League top goalscorers, including Harry Kane and £11.5m Andre Villas-Boas signing

Tottenham have housed some of the most exciting attacking talents in Premier League history.

The likes of Gareth Bale and Jermain Defoe have tormented opponents wearing that famous white strip – while Tottenham even produced Harry Kane in the academy.

Only Alan Shearer has scored more goals in the Premier League than the England international’s tally of 213.

On that note, let’s take a look at the ten highest goalscorers in Premier League history for Tottenham.

Steffen Iversen

Steffen Iversen arrived at Tottenham in a £2.3m move from Rosenborg back in 1996 – and went on to enjoy seven productive seasons with Spurs before joining Wolves in 2003, winning the League Cup in 1999.

The Norwegian netted 36 goals in 143 Premier League games for the north Londoners – and assisted Allan Nielsen for the winner in that aforementioned 1999 League Cup final.

Chris Armstrong

Chris Armstrong became Tottenham’s record signing when arriving in a £4.5m move from Crystal Palace back in June 1995 – replacing Jurgen Klinsmann, who had just departed for Bayern Munich.

The man from Newcastle upon Tyne scored 48 goals in 141 appearances for Spurs – striking up an effective partnership with Teddy Sheringham while also winning the League Cup in 1999.

Signed from Ajax by Andre Villas-Boas for just £11.5m back in August 2013, Christian Eriksen was a highly effective player for Tottenham.

Not only did the Dane score 51 goals in 226 Premier League appearances, but he also created a further 65 goals for his teammates, earning a spot in the PFA Premier League Team of the Year in 2017/18.

Dele Alli

Dele Alli was a remarkably good signing by Tottenham – costing just £5m in a deal with MK Dons back in February 2015.

The England international may have fallen by the wayside – now attempting to rebuild his career at Como – but still impressively racked up 51 goals and 34 assists in 181 Premier League appearances for Spurs.

Gareth Bale

Bale scored 53 goals in 166 Premier League appearances for Tottenham – and many of them can be considered as some of the best strikes English football has ever seen.

The Welshman eventually earned himself a world record £85m move to Real Madrid in 2013 for his efforts in north London – where he went on to win five UEFA Champions League titles.

Jermain Defoe

Tottenham fans may never witness a more natural finisher than Defoe play for Spurs.

The man born in Beckton spent two separate stints at Tottenham, scoring a total of 91 goals in 276 Premier League outings.

Robbie Keane

Like Defoe, Robbie Keane also scored 91 Premier League goals for Spurs – but did so in 38 games fewer.

The Irishman also spent two separate stints at Tottenham – winning the League Cup under Juande Ramos in the 2007/08 campaign.

Teddy Sheringham

Again – like Defoe and Keane – Sheringham also spent two separate stints at Tottenham, either side of his four seasons at Manchester United from 1997 to 2001.

The man from Highams Park netted 97 goals in 236 Premier League appearances for Spurs in total – winning the Tottenham Hotspur Player of the Year award in the 1994/95 season.

Heung-min Son

Heung-min Son cost Spurs just £22m in a move from Bayer Leverkusen back in August 2015, and the South Korean has turned out to be worth every single penny.

The Tottenham No.7 – now captain under Ange Postecoglou – boasts 126 goals in 327 Premier League appearances at the time of writing, and is sure to bag many more.

Son could be sold by Tottenham soon – however – as he approaches his 33rd birthday.

Harry Kane

As aforesaid, only Shearer has more Premier League goals than Kane.

Having scored just three goals in his first 14 Premier League appearances, the man now shining for Bayern Munich took off in the 2014/15 campaign with 21 goals in 34 games, and never looked back.

Kane – who is open to a Tottenham return – simply has to be considered as one of the greatest strikers of his generation, if not one of the best ever.
