Mikel Arteta may well be interested to hear what the forward had to say about the Emirates Stadium and his Arsenal side, given he is a potential transfer target.

The North London club are on the hunt for new forwards in the summer and this player is quickly becoming one of the most underrated attackers in the Premier League.

Antoine Semenyo names the Emirates Stadium as his favourite ground

Antoine Semenyo has named the Emirates Stadium as his favourite ground to have played at during his career so far.

Semenyo, who’s been linked with a £70m move to Arsenal, remained tight lipped as to why the Emirates Stadium was his favourite though.

When asked about his favourite stadium he’s played at, the forward told B/R Football: “Emirates,” and when asked why, he responded: “For other reasons but I’m not going to get into that… You’re not going to hear anything from me. My mouth is zipped.”

Antoine Semenyo picks Arsenal’s defence as his toughest back line

Semenyo, who claimed he had a trial at Arsenal, dropped further praise for the Gunners by naming their back line as the toughest he has faced.

Mikel Arteta’s side are also statistically the best having conceded just 24 times in the Premier League this season, which is fewer than any other team.

William Saliba and Gabriel Magalhaes have made Arsenal one of the toughest sides to face for attackers and it’s no surprise to hear Semenyo, who’s previously spoken about supporting Arsenal, pick them as the best defence.

When asked about the toughest defence he has faced, he added: “I would say Arsenal, they are a tough back line to play against.”
