Gary Neville has been mocked by a former teammate after starring in Manchester United’s new stadium unveiling.
The Red Devils legend provided the voiceover for a video highlighting the design for the new 100,000-seater stadium.

Costing an estimated £2billion to construct, the venue will replace Old Trafford, United’s home since 1910.
Over footage of the proposed arena, Neville’s not-so dulcet tones can be heard saying: “A new landmark will rise. A new theatre for dreams to come alive. A design inspired by the Red Devils’ trident.
“A modern take on our industrial roots. 100,000 fans, united as one. A place for glory. A place for pride.
“A sea of red. The loudest crowd. A majestic arena where history and future collide. A public space. A focal point.
“A catalyst for renewal. Full of hope for our fans and community. A new home for United. A new place for Manchester. A new future on familiar ground.”
However, one of Neville’s old teammates could not resist a smile and poking fun at his long-time friend as he listened to the clip.
Nicky Butt joined Jim White, Alex Crook and Troy Deeney live on talkSPORT at Cheltenham Festival on Wednesday morning.
After listening to Neville’s voiceover, Butt quipped: “He was born to speak, Gary, wasn’t he?
“He’s not stopped speaking since he was about 12.”
It’s not the first time Neville has been laughed at for his voiceover work, with his Stick to Football podcast colleagues Roy Keane, Ian Wright, Jamie Carragher and Jill Scott making fun of him for his mid-show adverts and sponsor plugs in the past.

As for the stadium plans, former United midfielder Butt added: “It’s an exciting time for the club. If it happens, it would be amazing.
“It looks like dreamland, the visuals of it all, and how it could end up looking.
“Honestly, it’s a long way off that. A lot of things have to go right with the local council, the government, obviously the funding.
“Man United won’t fund all that city. They’ll do the stadium, I imagine, what Sir Jim says.
“It’s a dream, it should have the best stadium, I believe, in the country and the world. So hopefully it will come through.”
Neville and Butt both came through United’s academy before moving into the first-team together as part of the Class of ’92.

The pair went on to spend 12 years as teammates before Butt moved to Newcastle in 2004.
During that time, they made 298 first-team appearances together under Sir Alex Ferguson.
They also featured alongside each other for England at both youth and senior level.
Butt lifted 17 trophies with United, including eight league titles and a treble, all with Neville as a team-mate.
The long-time friends continue to work together in football at Salford City.
Alongside fellow Class of ’92 members David Beckham, Ryan Giggs, Phil Neville and Paul Scholes, they co-own the League Two club.
