Tottenham Hotspur aren’t doing very well at the moment, that much is obvious for all to see.
Indeed, Tottenham sit rooted in the bottom-half of the Premier League table, and they’re also on the brink of elimination in the Europa League.
However, it isn’t all doom and gloom at Tottenham.
Despite Spurs’ issues, the future is looking bright at Tottenham due to their fantastic stable of young talents.
Archie Gray looks like a future star, while Lucas Bergvall has been brilliant this season.
Speaking to Squawka, Jermain Defoe has been discussing some of the young talents at Tottenham, and he says that Tyrese Hall is another unbelievable talent who could soon make a big impact.
Tyrese Hall tipped for Tottenham stardom
Defoe spoke about Hall and his potential.
The pundit says that this young man is one of the top young talents in the country.
Defoe has coached against Ethan Nwaneri in the past, and he reckons that Hall is up there with the best players in the country at this age group.
Manchester City have looked at Hall in the past, so he is a top talent.
“There’s Callum Olusesi who has been on the bench a few times, Malachi (Hardy), I think he’s been on the bench. There’s Tyrese Hall, I’m quite surprised he’s not featured yet to be honest. An unbelievable talent, one of the best I’ve seen in my two years in the academy. Even in the teams we’d played against, I’d put Tyrese up there in the top three I’ve played against,” Defoe said.
Tottenham’s other young stars
Hall sounds like he is a real prospect, but he’s not the only young star coming through at Spurs right now.
Indeed, Tottenham have a long line of exciting young players on their books at the moment.
Archie Gray and Lucas Bergvall are already making real first-team impacts, but there are numerous other young talents at the club who have been tipped for big things.
Tottenham’s exciting young stars | Age |
---|---|
Archie Gray | 19 |
Lucas Bergvall | 19 |
Mikey Moore | 17 |
Jamie Donley | 19 |
Luka Vuskovic | 18 |
Ashley Phillips | 19 |
Tyrese Hall | 19 |
Mikey Moore is a very exciting prospect, and he may well be the jewel in the crown of Tottenham’s academy at the moment.
Hall hasn’t had his first-team chance at Tottenham yet, but, as Defoe says, it would be a surprise if this young man doesn’t break into the side before too long.
