Arsenal, Liverpool, Manchester City, Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur are among the clubs who have set their sights on one of the Premier League’s most in-form midfielders.
All five Premier League clubs are likely to be busy in the summer transfer window as they look to bolster their ranks.
Arsenal, Man City, Man United and Tottenham will all be looking to bring in new signings in pursuit of better campaigns next time round.
Meanwhile, Liverpool are having a great campaign in the league but will likely want to strengthen after two fairly quiet transfer windows in a row.
Premier League giants keen on Morgan Gibbs-White
Arsenal, Liverpool, Man City, Man United and Tottenham are all interested in Nottingham Forest star Morgan Gibbs-White, according to CaughtOffside.
The England international has been in great form this season, contributing a total of five goals and six assists from midfield in 24 Premier League games.
Forest are not looking to sell Gibbs-White, but an offer in the region of €60million (£50million) could tempt the Reds to the negotiating table, suggested the report.
What Morgan Gibbs-White could bring to the likes of Arsenal
Gibbs-White has gone from strength to strength since joining Forest from Wolverhampton Wanderers back in 2022 in a deal worth around £42.5million.
The 25-year-old has made 106 appearances for Forest, registering 16 goals and 24 assists, and has played a big part in their brilliant 2024/25 campaign so far.
The Reds currently sit third in the Premier League table and will fancy their chances of qualifying for the Champions League next term.
TNT Sports pundit Peter Crouch suggested Gibbs-White would have no issue playing for any team in the world in wake of his heroics in the 7-0 win over Brighton.
“He’s a modern-day player,” Crouch said on TNT Sports. “Back in our day, players with that ability were almost luxury players.
“But the amount of work he gets through and the pressing – if you want to play a high press he can do that, if you want to sit back he’s transitional and when you win the ball he carries it and invariably picks the right pass.
“[He does] a bit of everything and he does it really well; he can get goals, create goals, he’s very clever in the way he goes down for the penalty – he won’t thank me for saying this – but he accentuates the foul, very intelligent.
“When I look around the top teams, he could play for absolutely anyone. He’s really enjoying his time here and hopefully that doesn’t stop for a long time, but I genuinely believe he could play for anyone.”
Meanwhile, Gary Lineker previously said of Gibbs-White: “I’ve admired him for years, I’ve always thought he’s got something.”
Lineker described him as: “Sharp, alive, perfect weight of pass. Doesn’t rush, waits for the right moment, always moving, doesn’t get flustered.”
