Arsenal are set for a busy summer on the transfer front as Mikel Arteta looks to bolster his ranks ahead of another big season.
The Gunners remain in the hunt for the Champions League trophy, but they’re all-but out of the Premier League title race and out of both domestic cups.
Arsenal have suffered from a number of injuries to key players this season, particularly up front, with most of their main forwards currently on the sidelines.
As a result, the Gunners are interested in a number of attacking players, with Bayern Munich winger Leroy Sane on Arsenal’s radar.
A report has now emerged sharing what Sane is willing to do this summer that will be music to the ears of Arsenal and other suitors.

Leroy Sane could be willing to take paycut amid Arsenal links
Arsenal are interested in signing Sane this summer as his contract talks with Bayern Munich look to have stalled, according to CaughtOffside.
The 29-year-old is out of contract in the summer and, as things stand, there have been no talks over the Germany international’s deal being renewed.
Gunners boss Mikel Arteta knows Sane well after they worked together at Manchester City and would reportedly be keen on a reunion with the player.
In addition, Sane could also be willing to accept a pay cut to his current €20million-a-year salary (around £323,000-a-week) at Bayern, added the report.
Back in October, TBR Football revealed that Sane’s representatives were starting to speak to clubs around Europe – putting work in and letting them know he is a free agent.
More recently, TBR Football chief correspondent Graeme Bailey revealed that Sane has been offered to Arsenal, Liverpool, Tottenham, Manchester United and Newcastle.
There haven’t been any significant updates on the Bayern front, suggesting Sane is edging closer to an exit from the Allianz Arena, even though he hasn’t ruled out staying.
How fast Leroy Sane has been this season
Sane is a world-class player – in Julian Nagelsmann’s words – who’d tick a lot of boxes for Arsenal.
He’s hugely talented, has a superb CV, an eye for goal, and is incredibly fast – not to mention he’s set to be available for nothing.
Competition | Apps | Goals | Assists |
Bundesliga | 21 | 6 | 4 |
Champions League | 11 | 1 | 0 |
DFB-Pokal | 2 | 1 | 0 |
Total | 34 | 8 | 4 |
The Bundesliga website has listed Sane as the 26th-fastest player in the Bundesliga this season with a speed of 35.31kph.
This puts Sane just below Benjamin Sesko and faster than Omar Marmoush, who joined Manchester City from Eintracht Frankfurt in January.
As a free agent of the highest quality, Sane will certainly pique the interest of many suitors should he decide that his future lies away from the Allianz Arena.
