West Ham fans in disbelief after seeing what car midfielder Andy Irving drives

West Ham United fans have been reacting on social media after seeing what car midfielder Andy Irving drives.

It is well-documented that Premier League footballers get paid a lot and can afford some of the most expensive cars money can buy.

Over the years, footballers have been seen driving cars such as Bentleys, Lamborghinis, Range Rovers and Porsches.

However, West Ham midfielder Irving’s choice of vehicle has got fans talking.

In a video posted on TikTok, Hammers stars such as Jarrod Bowen, Danny Ings, Lucas Paqueta and Mohammed Kudus were all seen behind the wheel of luxury cars.

When Irving arrived, the Scotsman was driving a white Nissan Juke, a far cry from the usual Mercedes G Class and Range Rover.

Reacting in the comments section, one fan joked: “Does Irving not get paid?”

Another said: “Bro Irving’s juke is base model, £25k max.”

A third fan added: “3 match suspension for driving a Nissan Juke.”

Someone else wrote: “I love Andy Irving and his little Nissan Juke.”

A fifth commented: “Andrew Irving, The People’s Champion.”

Another fan said: “Everyone is talking about Irving’s Nissan juke and nothing is being said about Coufal in a Skoda.”

As reported by The Athletic, the 24-year-old ‘does not yearn for expensive accessories’.

It has been claimed that Irving is ‘shrewd’ with his money and has invested in real estate in a bid to live comfortably with his family after his career is over.

Irving was handed his first Premier League start by Graham Potter against Chelsea last month.

Speaking about the midfielder, Potter said: “His spirit, application and training performances merited that start.

“We lost Alvarez quite late (to injury) so we had to adjust. I think the decision was clear for Andy because he’s trained really well and I think it’s important for the group to know that. I’m pleased with him.”

He added: “Andy’s worked incredibly hard and been incredibly patient. I get on really well with Andy.

“I’ve had a lot of chats with him and always told him that I know his time will come because I’ve seen it in training. He looked comfortable. He looked at home with it and I know there will be many more (appearances) for Andy.”
