Burn opened the scoring by powering in a header and sending the Magpies supporters into a frenzy against Liverpool.
Isak’s first-time finish doubled Newcastle’s lead as they went on to win 2-1 as Federico Chiesa’s late strike was a mere consolation goal at the end of the day.
But the man who must especially felt like he was on top of the world is Dan Burn, as he is a boyhood Newcastle fan and he scored while putting in an inspired display against Liverpool to break the Magpies’ 70-year trophy drought.

Burn claimed he felt “numb” after Newcastle beat Liverpool and understandably so, having experienced the best day of his career.
Gary Neville noticed Wembley was shaking after Burn’s goal as the Newcastle faithful were understandably overjoyed.
