Tottenham Hotspur are one of several Premier League sides who have been tracking the progress of Inter Miami midfielder Benjamin Cremaschi.
20-year-old Cremaschi has emerged as one of the stars of David Beckham’s MLS side having progressed through the club’s academy.
The central midfielder has been able to stand out for Inter Miami despite playing alongside Lionel Messi, and Cremaschi is emerging as one of America’s top young talents.
Cremaschi is fairly versatile in midfield – he’s already featured for Miami in both a number six and number 10 role.
And that perhaps explains why the youngster has already earned two caps for his country under former Tottenham boss Mauricio Pochettino, who has cleary been impressed.
Tottenham have been keeping close checks on Benjamin Cremaschi
TBR Football chief correspondent Graeme Bailey understands that Tottenham have checked on Cremaschi of late, alongside Manchester City, Newcastle United and Brighton & Hove Albion.
Cremaschi has Argentinian parents but has opted to play for the USA, explaining why he’s already made a promising start under Pochettino.

The 20-year-old was also part of US Olympic squad in France, an all-action midfielder who is now attracting attention from a host of European sides who are watching him closely.
Despite his young age, Cremaschi has already made 75 appearances for Miami’s first team, scoring seven goals and providing seven assists.
The Florida-born youngster has predominantly played as a central midfielder, but has also operated on the right when necessary.
Christian Pulisic has already talked up Benjamin Cremaschi’s potential
As well as being described as a ‘sharp’ and ‘technical’ talent by former Fulham defender Tim Ream, Cremaschi’s potential has also been lauded by Christian Pulisic.
Cremaschi himself has already spoken about how much he’s been learning from watching Messi at Miami.

And when speaking via Marca, Pulisic concluded that Cremaschi is already showing a ton of potential.
Pulisic said: “I really like this kid out of Miami, man. Seems like a nice kid.
“I’ve been out of the states but been excited to follow Miami recently for obvious reasons, and yeah, I like him.
“In the few trainings I’ve seen him, I see a lot of potential there as well.”
A superb young talent, and one who could possibly make his move to Europe in the near future.
