Liverpool come into the game with a number of defensive injuries, with Trent Alexander-Arnold already ruled out of the final for the second straight year after he suffered an injury in their loss to PSG. Despite fearing he could miss the rest of the season, though, he is expected to be back in the coming weeks.
Unfortunately for Slot, he will have both his back-up options out with Conor Bradley still out with an injury, alongside Joe Gomez who will not be available for selection. The Reds also signed Calvin Ramsay as a back-up option two years ago, but he is currently out on loan at Kilmarnock.
Ibrahima Konate also limped off against his hometown team, but he had not picked up an injury and had been experiencing cramps. Meanwhile, Cody Gakpo is expected to be fit after being benched against PSG and could be available to start.
