Real Betis will be bidding to post a fifth straight win in La Liga when they continue their season away to Leganes on Sunday afternoon.

Manuel Pellegrini’s side have collected 12 points from the last available 12 to rise into sixth spot in the La Liga table, four points ahead of seventh-placed Mallorca, while Leganes are 17th, just one point outside of the relegation zone.

We say: Leganes 0-1 Real Betis

Real Betis are absolutely flying at the moment, and we are backing them to secure another win here; Leganes are capable of making it a tricky match for the Seville club, but Pellegrini’s side have enough quality to navigate their way to all three points.

Buoyed from sealing their place in the Europa League quarter-finals, Athletic Bilbao will be looking for another positive result when they travel to the Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan for Sunday’s La Liga contest with Sevilla.

Los Leones are currently sitting in fourth place in the league table, while the hosts will start the weekend in 10th position.

We say: Sevilla 1-1 Athletic Bilbao

Athletic will be looking to claim their first away league win in January, but after drawing two of their previous three La Liga road trips, we think they could play out another draw on Sunday, especially as Sevilla have seen three of their last four home matches finish all square.

Real Sociedad will be aiming to bounce back from a heavy defeat to Manchester United in the Europa League when they continue their La Liga campaign with a contest against Rayo Vallecano on Sunday evening.

A poor run of form has seen Real Sociedad lose four of their last five matches, while Rayo have been beaten in three of their last four league encounters, so both teams will be determined to return to winning ways in Spain’s top flight this weekend.

We say: Rayo Vallecano 2-1 Real Sociedad

Rayo will certainly be the fresher of the two teams, and the capital outfit have enjoyed their recent meetings with Real Sociedad – it would not be a surprise to see a draw here, but we just have a feeling that Rayo will be able to inflict more damage on a Real Sociedad outfit that are struggling for form.

Getafe will be bidding to build on their excellent win over Atletico Madrid last time out when they continue their La Liga campaign with an away fixture against Osasuna on Sunday night.

The visitors are currently 12th in the La Liga table, picking up 33 points from 27 matches this season, while Osasuna are 14th, level on points with their opponents this weekend.

We say: Osasuna 1-1 Getafe

It was 1-1 when the two teams locked horns earlier this season, and we are predicting the same scoreline here; Osasuna are the draw specialists, with two of their last four league matches finishing 1-1, and we are expecting another stalemate on Sunday.

Wanda Metropolitano will play host to a gigantic La Liga contest on Sunday evening, as title rivals Atletico Madrid and Barcelona go head-to-head in one of the most important matches of the season to date.

Barcelona are currently top of the La Liga table, one point ahead of third-placed Atletico, and both teams will enter this match off the back of Champions League fixtures.

We say: Atletico Madrid 1-1 Barcelona

There has not actually been a league draw between these two sides since May 2021, while Barcelona have won five of their last seven games in all competitions; Atletico are so strong at home, though, and we are expecting Simeone’s team to be good enough to secure a share of the spoils on Sunday night.
