Liverpool have endured a difficult week – one that could fill Arsenal with encouragement.
The Reds were knocked out of the UEFA Champions League by PSG on Tuesday before Newcastle beat them to the Carabao Cup at Wembley on Sunday – meaning Liverpool can now only (relatively speaking) win the Premier League title this season.
Plymouth Argyle knocked Liverpool out of the FA Cup in the fourth round.
However, with Arsenal now 12 points behind after beating Chelsea 1-0 on Sunday, a weekend Liverpool did not partake in Premier League action for obvious reasons, some are questioning whether the title race could be back on if Arne Slot fails to get his side firing again.

As you can see, the Gunners face none of the traditional Big Six in the Premier League – although the penultimate game of the season against Newcastle will be difficult.
There is also a six-pointer against Liverpool at Anfield, which could make for a hugely enticing spectacle if Arsenal can eat up some ground on the Reds between now and Saturday 10th May.
In regards to Liverpool, Slot must face Tottenham and Chelsea – the latter clash away from Anfield – which could prove difficult, as well as Arsenal all in the space of two weeks.

Arsenal have another boost on the horizon as Liverpool wobble
Arsenal do – admittedly – have two UEFA Champions League clashes against Real Madrid to contend with amidst this run of Premier League fixtures, although Mikel Arteta is close to a major boost.
Bukayo Saka is expected to return after the current international break, with the England international set to engage in training at Hale End while his peers link up with Thomas Tuchel for the Three Lions.
Of course, clawing back a 12-point gap on Liverpool will require all hands on deck, but if the influential Arsenal No.7 can hit the ground running upon his return, it could inspire the Gunners to do something special.
