Bury your chances, not the striker
Bayern Munich striker Harry Kane is known for both his goalscoring exploits and his off-the-ball movement wherein he helps the team win their games…most of them anyway. Sometimes, if you’re a defender, you get tired of the 31-year-old getting the better of you and you just want it to stop. But planning to stuff him in a coffin?
“Harry Kane is a great player on a world-class level, but well, we’re going to give it our all. I’m going to k*ll him,” Boca Juniors defender Lautaro Di Lollo said with a laugh (TyC Sports via @iMiaSanMia). The two clubs’ will be squaring off against each other in the upcoming FIFA Club World Cup.
All of this is, of course, said in jest in case anyone somehow takes this quote to heart and gets, you know, worked up over it. We can all ascertain that Di Lollo is just speaking about how much he wants to make like difficult for Kane when the teams meet.
As the kids say, shoot your shot (just not literally).
