Spurs have signed some great young gems over the past few years, such as Djed Spence, Destiny Udogie and Pape Matar Sarr.

More recently, the likes of Archie Gray, Lucas Bergvall, Wilson Odobert and Yang Min-hyeok have all signed for Tottenham.

In addition, Ange Postecoglou has been promoting academy talents, with the likes of Mikey Moore, Will Lankshear and Dane Scarlett all getting a chance.

Now, four players currently on Tottenham’s books have been named in Goal.com’s latest list of the 50 best young footballers in the world.

Another player on the list has agreed terms with Spurs and is set to join this summer.

Yang Min-Hyeok, Luka Vuskovic, Mikey Moore, Lucas Bergvall and Archie Gray named in NxGn 2025 list

Every March, Goal.com publishes the NxGn list, in which they rank and discuss what they deem to be the 50 best teenagers in world football.

The first Tottenham player on their list is Yang Min-Hyeok, who is 43rd in the rankings, above the likes of Manchester United’s Chido Obi.

The South Korea international, 18, joined Spurs from FC Gangwon in January and is currently on loan at Queens Park Rangers.

Next up is Luka Vuskovic, who will join Tottenham this summer after Spurs paid Hajduk Split a fee of around £12million in 2023 to secure his services.

The 18-year-old defender, 26th on the list, is currently plying his trade on loan at Belgian outfit Westerlo alongside Spurs academy graduate Alfie Devine.

Mikey Moore is the third Spurs player on the list, ranking at number 22, above the likes of Marc Guiu and Tyler Dibling.

The 17-year-old forward has been in and around the Tottenham first team this season and already has 18 competitive appearances to his name.

Next up is Lucas Bergvall, who is 17th on the list. The Sweden midfielder has gone from strength to strength at N17 and is now a key player for Spurs.

Finally, the highest-ranked Tottenham player on the list is Archie Gray, who is 13th in the standings.

The 18-year-old has been a revelation at Spurs, having excelled in a variety of positions amid the club’s injury crisis, including at centre-back.

Five Tottenham youngsters Ange Postecoglou has backed for stardom

Back in September, Postecoglou said he loved watching Moore, Gray, Bergvall, Wilson Odobert and Will Lankshear in training.

He told reporters that he hoped all five would be “flying” by the time they’re 21 years of age and stressed that it’s Spurs’ responsibility to develop them.

“The three we’ve brought in, with Mikey and young Will Lankshear as well, Wilson, Archie, Lucas, I just love watching them in training at the moment,” Postecoglou said.

“They want to play, they want to make an impact. They don’t look or behave like 18, 19-year-olds. Which is great for me.

“When they’re 21, they’re hopefully going to be flying and it’s part of our responsibility to develop them.

“If you want to have a successful period, you can’t just bring in experienced players to have one hit at success.”
