Manchester United picked up their best Premier League result in months at the weekend as they beat Leicester City 3-0.
Manchester United, for a change, looked decent as they beat The Foxes at the weekend, and, as ever, Bruno Fernandes was the brightest spark on the day.
Fernandes’ role at United has been questioned recently, but he continuously comes up with the goods for the Red Devils.
However, it wasn’t all positive for United on the day.
Indeed, the result was somewhat marred by an injury to young Ayden Heaven on his full Premier League debut.
Heaven had earned praise recently after coming into the United side.
Heaven picked up what appeared to be a nasty injury against Leicester, but a positive update has been given.
Heaven apparently left the stadium on the day wearing just a protective boot without the need of crutches, and speaking on The Weekend Wrap, Dion Dublin has reacted to this update.
Dion Dublin reacts to Ayden Heaven update
Dublin was given an update on Heaven as the host of the show shared his information on the defender.
Dublin was told that Heaven had managed to leave the stadium without needing to use crutches, and, Dublin noted how promising that sounds.
“One negative for Manchester United was an injury to Ayden Heaven, he was playing brilliantly on his full Premier League debut. It looks like it was an ankle injury, but we’ve been told he left the stadium with a protective boot on but not crutches,” The host said.
“That is encouraging, that is encouraging most definitely. 18 years old, he’s under no pressure at all, looks like he’s played in the first-team for ages, drawing fouls, knowing what he’s doing, taking pressure of his team, that’s what defenders do, that’s what he should be doing,” Dublin said.
Ayden Heaven stats vs Leicester
Luckily, it sounds as though Heaven’s injury isn’t too bad, but it was such a shame to see the teenager go down like this.
Heaven was enjoying a brilliant full Premier League debut at the weekend, and the stats show just how well he was adjusting to top-level football.

Heaven only joined Manchester United in January from Arsenal, but he’s already making a serious mark.
At the age of just 18, this young man appears to have the world at his feet, and hopefully, he’ll be back from injury soon and showcasing his abilties in the Premier League once again.
Heaven’s injury looked nasty at the weekend, but, luckily, it sounds as though the defender may not have suffered too serious a problem.
