Carlos Condit made his MMA debut on the 6th of September, 2002 in a promotion called Aztec Challenge in Mexico. He took on Nick Roscorla and won via. submission in the first round.
He then went on a rampant 7-fight winning streak, before suffering his first loss (submission) at Fightworld 2 in September 2004, against Carlo Prater.
Condit bounced back remarkably well with a four-fight winning streak. At Pancrase: Spiral 8, he suffered yet another submission defeat.
In 2006, Condit suffered back-to-back defeat at the hands of Jake Shields and Pat Healy.
Following three successive wins at Pancrase, Condit moved to WEC. He made his debut at WEC 25 against Kyle Jensen.
In his very next fight at WEC 26, Condit won the WEC Welterweight Championship against John Alessio.
He defended the title thrice and moved to the UFC. Condit made his UFC debut at UFC Fight Night: Condit vs Kampmann on the 1st of April, 2009, and went down fighting to Martin Kampmann via. split decision.
After 4 back-to-back wins following his loss, Condit defeated Nick Diaz at UFC 143 and won the Interim UFC welterweight belt.
Condit was unsuccessful in his title fight against Georges St-Pierre, as he went down via. unanimous decision.
He once again fought for the welterweight title in 2016, against Robbie Lawler, but was unsuccessful.
Following a poor run of form, which included 5 straight losses, Condit beat Court McGee and Matt Brown to get back to winning ways.
His momentary ‘back-to-form’ was snapped against Max Griffin at UFC 264, making it the last fight in his MMA career.
He retired with a record of 32 wins and 14 losses.

Carlos Condit was born on the 26th of April, 1984 in Albuquerque, New Mexico to parents Brian Condit and Camille Prevost. He began wrestling when he was just 9 years old. Condit recently lost a close friend of his, Tim.
Condit is married to Seager Marie McCullah. They are married since December 2010 and have one son, Owen Condit born in March 2010.
He has his own line of custom jeans under the name Sene Studio. Condit also runs a coffee shop.
