TBR Football can reveal that Dean Huijsen would favour a move to La Liga with several major Spanish clubs keen on signing him.

English suitors have already been warned about Huijsen’s preference ahead of next summer’s transfer window, TBR Football has been told.

All of the Premier League top clubs are aware of the defender’s superb performances and have been in contact with Huijsen’s camp, including Liverpool, Chelsea, Tottenham, Aston Villa and Newcastle.

Huijsen’s camp have made it clear to all interested parties that there is a release clause in his contract that would see him being able to move this summer for £50 million.

Real Madrid, Atletico Madrid and Barcelona all keen on Dean Huijsen

However, despite the interest in England, a move to Spain is the most likely scenario for Dean Huijsen, sources have told Graeme Bailey – chief correspondent at TBR Football.

Atletico Madrid and Real Madrid are both keen on Huijsen, whilst Barcelona have also made it clear that could yet be interested – especially if they move Andreas Christensen this summer.

Meanwhile, Madrid are also working on Cristian Romero and William Saliba, but Huijsen is emerging as a strong alternative.

Despite being Dutch-born – Huijsen and his family have lived in Spain since he was a young child and last year he switched international allegiance.

Now the prospect of playing in La Liga is believed to be a huge draw for Huijsen – who has emerged as one of the most in-demand teenagers in world football, following an outstanding debut campaign in the Premier League.
