The international break is in full swing with the first batch of Liverpool players in action for their countries today as Japan, the Netherlands, Scotland, Greece, France, Republic of Ireland, Portugal and Hungary prepare for fixtures.

But one player who won’t be involved is Ryan Gravenberch, who had to withdraw from international duty on Wednesday night due to injury. The Reds will hope it’s a minor issue and he will be ready when the team hosts Everton on 2 April.

Meanwhile, Andy Robertson has been in the news as he discussed his own personal form and Liverpool possibly signing a new left-back this summer. He certainly isn’t shirking the challenge, while the Scotland captain has also revealed his hopes of breaking Sir Kenny Dalglish’s international caps record.

Elsewhere in transfer news, Liverpool has been linked with Feyenoord’s Givairo Read and Rayan Ait-Nouri of Wolverhampton Wanderers, while fresh claims have emerged surrounding Milos Kerkez.

Several Liverpool players have also been linked with summer exits, including reports suggesting Arsenal could be interested in Luis Diaz.
