Tottenham are likely to be busy in the summer transfer window as Ange Postecoglou continues his rebuilding job at N17.
Spurs have favoured signing talented prospects in recent years, with the likes of Pape Matar Sarr, Destiny Udogie, Archie Gray and Lucas Bergvall all shining at the club.
Now, Tottenham are said to have ramped up their pursuit of one of England’s best youngsters, a player who has been likened to Gareth Bale.
Better still, said player is said to be open to joining the Lilywhites, who also appear to have the edge over Manchester United in pursuit of the youngster.

Tottenham ramping up Tyler Dibling pursuit
The player in question is Tyler Dibling, who has made real name for himself at Southampton and has been one of their few bright lights this season.
With the likes of Man United also in for Dibling, Tottenham are now attempting to move fastest ahead of the transfer window officially reopening, according to GiveMeSport.
The Red Devils are said to have an avenue of communication open to Dibling and his camp, and he remains a subject of interest for the Old Trafford side.
However, Man United will only try to steal a march on Tottenham if they can compete at the level of financing it will take to get the deal over the line, added the report.
TBR Football chief correspondent Graeme Bailey has previously confirmed that Dibling would welcome the chance to join Tottenham.
Dibling and his camp have also made Southampton aware that he has no plans to sign a new contract, with his current deal due to expire in 2026.
The Saints have slapped a £50million price tag on Dibling, but Tottenham feel he’s worth half that amount as they see him as a future prospect.
What Tyler Dibling could bring to Tottenham
Dibling could be a great addition for Tottenham thanks to his quality, high ceiling, and versatility.
The 19-year-old’s main position is on the right wing and, with Brennan Johnson and Dejan Kulusevski both struggling for consistency there, he could be an alternative.
Dibling has also played as a No. 10, a centre-forward, a central midfielder and even a defensive midfielder over the past 18 months for Southampton, at senior and youth level.
And in terms of player comparisons, Theo Walcott has likened Dibling to Gareth Bale and Jack Grealish after playing alongside him on the south coast before retiring.
The 35-year-old told talkSPORT in September: “He is an athlete. You can see the size of him already as well.
“It’s very much like the Gareth Bale sort of physique, and the way he has got a bit of swag about him on the field like a Jack Grealish type.”
