Arsenal are looking for a new striker in the summer transfer window.
The Gunners have been searching for a striker for a long time, and they’ve gone all around the houses in their search for a new centre-forward.
Ivan Toney was an Arsenal target at one point, while Arsenal bid for Ollie Watkins in the January transfer window.
Alexander Isak is Arsenal’s dream target, but according to Ben Jacobs, speaking on the Highbury Squad YouTube channel, Benjamin Sesko is perhaps the most likely striker to join Arsenal in the summer.

Benjamin Sesko is very likely to join Arsenal
Jacobs shared what he knows about Sesko and Arsenal.
The journalist says that Isak is Arsenal’s top target, but it is a very unlikely deal to happen.
Meanwhile, Jacobs said that he’s relatively confident that Arsenal will go for Sesko, claiming that it’s a very likely deal to happen.
“Yes Arsenal like him (Alexander Isak), yes, he’s the dream target, he’s the number one target. But all of us have number one things we’d like in the world, but they’re fictional pie in the sky dreams that are very unlikely to happen,” Jacobs said.
“Is Isak genuinely available? Berta will get a quick read on that. If he is, he becomes Arsenal’s top choice.
“If he isn’t available, I’d be relatively confident in saying that Arsenal will make a significant play on Benjamin Sesko. I think that is a very likely deal to happen again, good value, the release clause is €70m (£60m). Relatively low wage and he’s sold on the project. Sesko to Arsenal has a very high percentage chance, but they won’t pull the trigger until they know the Isak question.”
Benjamin Sesko compared to Alexander Isak
Arsenal may well miss out on their dream target in the shape of Isak, but, make no mistake about it, Sesko isn’t a bad consolation prize.
The RB Leipzig striker has been in great form this season, and at the age of just 21, he has plenty of room to grow and improve and potentially reach Isak’s level one day.

Of course, Isak would be a better option for Arsenal – he’s Premier League proven already. However, Isak has been valued at £200m by some in the past, so he’d be a much more expensive option.
Arsenal do need to be economical in the summer, especially as Arsenal also want Martin Zubimendi, while Nico Williams has been linked to Arsenal too.
Sesko could be just what the doctor ordered at Arsenal, and if the Gunners bring Sesko in, they could still have some cash to spare to bring in some extra reinforcements in other positions.
