Arsenal are in a difficult position at the moment.

Indeed, the Gunners are one of the best teams in England, but, at the same time, they haven’t won a trophy in half a decade at this point.

Arsenal are potentially at risk of losing some of their key players as they search for opportunities to win major honours.

Ian Wright is worried about players leaving Arsenal, while Micah Richards reckons William Saliba could head to Real Madrid.

Luckily though, it appears as though one Arsenal player remains fiercely loyal to the cause.

Speaking to TV2 Sport, Martin Odegaard was asked where he sees himself in three years’ time, and the Norwegian said that he still wants to be at Arsenal, hoping to have won a few trophies.

Martin Odegaard sees himself still at Arsenal in three years

Odegaard was asked where he sees himself in three years.

The £30m midfielder was quick to answer, claiming that he hopes to still be at Arsenal in three years’ time, claiming that he also wants to win some trophies in that period.

“Where do you see yourself in three years’ time?” Odegaard was asked.

“Where do I see myself? Hopefully at Arsenal having won a few trophies and still enjoying life,” Odegaard said.

Martin Odegaard’s stats this season

Odegaard wants to stay at Arsenal and be a key part of a team that is winning trophies in three years’ time.

However, if Odgeaard wants to retain his place at Arsenal, he needs to step up his game.

Indeed, while Odegaard is a world-class player when he’s playing at the peak of his powers, we haven’t seen him at his best all that much this season, as the stats show.

Mikel Arteta isn’t afraid to make cut-throat decisions on big-name players once their form dips – just ask Aaron Ramsdale, and if Odegaard doesn’t find a way to get back to his best, he could potentially be on the chopping block.

Arsenal have looked at Florian Wirtz recently, so a new attacking midfielder could come in, and that would leave Odegaard potentially in a perilous position.
