Alisson was then replaced with a head injury in Brazil’s win over Colombia, and team doctor Rodrigo Lasmar has since revealed he suffered a suspected concussion.
That comes after Ryan Gravenberch was sent home early by the Netherlands, having suffered an injury during the Carabao Cup final. With Trent Alexander-Arnold, Conor Bradley, Joe Gomez and Tyler Morton already out at the moment, the injuries are beginning to pile up.
There was better news for the Reds on Thursday though, with Cody Gakpo back in goalscoring form for the Dutch against Spain. Jeremie Frimpong also impressed, and his performance comes as a timely transfer reminder to Liverpool.
