The hits just keep on coming for Bayern Munich during this international break.
First, the club found out that Jonas Urbig had to leave Germany’s U-21 camp due to what is considered to be a minor ailment. Now, though, the news is a bit more serious as starting goalkeeper Manuel Neuer has suffered a setback in his recovery from a calf issue.
While it might be too early to hit the panic button, you do have permission to start to sweat a bit. Here is the news that FCBayern.com released:
Manuel Neuer has already begun recovery training following the calf strain he suffered in the Champions League round of 16 first leg against Bayer Leverkusen. He will now take another break from training in the coming days following a reaction in the calf muscle.
