Tottenham Hotspur winger Wilson Odobert has had a good couple of weeks for club and country.
The French prodigy opened his account for Tottenham last week, scoring a brace to help the Lilywhites beat AZ Alkmaar.
With the international break now in full swing, Odobert is representing France’s Under-21s, who are fine-tuning their preparations for the Euros in June.
And on Friday night, the Tottenham gem helped his nation beat England U21s in an eight-goal thriller in Lorient.
Odobert provided two assists for Hugo Ekitike, who scored a hat-trick, while Quentin Merlin and Rayan Cherki also got on the scoresheet.
England had opened the scoring through James McAtee in the second minute, while Harvey Elliott and Liam Delap also netted for the visitors.
Fans of the French national team had plenty to say about Odobert during and after the thrilling friendly.
