One step closer to World Cup qualification
Germany fought out a 2-1 win over Italy in Milan, their first away win against the Azzurri in 39 years, during the UEFA Nations League Quarterfinals. The second leg is upon us and Italy will look to do better than the last match. Maybe a repeat of the semifinals (coincidence? I think not) of the 2006 World Cup wherein Germany was knocked out by late, late goals is on the cards. Julian Nagelsmann on the other hand should be well equipped to march into the next round.
Prediction: Germany 2-0 Italy
Nagelsmann will do some slight tinkering (maybe go by the predicted lineups?) and put in a dominant display against the Italians. Tim Kleindienst scores first while Jamal Musiala gets the other goal.
Is the prediction outlandish? Yes. Can you outdo it? Prove it by heading to the comments and discuss!
