It is always a nice feeling when you find, form, and solidify a friend group. In football, that goes a long way. Previously, Bayern Munich II guy Guido Della Rovere revealed how he stayed close with a fellow Italian speaker, but who else comprises his “inner circle”?
“I spend a lot of time with Davide in particular. Speaking Italian with him always feels a little bit like home to me,” Della Rovere said (via Bayern’s official website). “We get on really well. But I also do a lot with Jonny [Asp Jensen or Kusi-Asare?] or Javi [Fernandez] — usually in a group. We go bowling, go for a walk or just look around the city.”
The lads were recently in Spain for a training camp, from which Della Rovere took some positives from. “It was an intensive week with lots of training sessions. We learned a lot about tactical processes and worked on our fitness. Unfortunately, I missed the second test match due to a slight cold, but I’m feeling better now. I’m confident about the challenges ahead – be it in the Youth League or the Regional League. I’m looking forward to it.”
