Yang Min-hyeok has been speaking about the possibility of making his first appearance for the South Korean national team and his improvement as a player.
Yang has been doing well in the Championship on loan at Queens Park Rangers despite falling out of the team over recent weeks.
The 18-year-old has had to make the step of living on a new continent and playing in England’s second division and has so far made a strong impression, especially considering his age.
Now, the Tottenham Hotspur youngster is preparing for the possibility of making his first start for South Korea who are next in action on Tuesday.
Yang Min-hyeok is ready to make an impact for South Korea
Yang Min-hyeok is confident that he is getting stronger as a player following the experiences he is gaining from his loan spell at QPR.
The South Korean has been making quite an impression in West London with the local media hailing Yang’s ‘crazy’ potential.
Yang, who’s linked back up with Son Heung-min, claims that he is ready to make an impact for the national team should they call upon him for their clash against Jordan.
Speaking about being back in Korea with the national team, Yang told KFATV: “It’s been a while since I’ve seen family and enjoyed Korean food, it was so good.
“I think I’ll be able to do better now that I am stronger. If the chance arises, I’ll do my best to become a player the team can rely on.”
Yang has just been named in the top 50 best teenagers in the world highlighting how highly rated he is even outside of Tottenham.
Could Yang Min-hyeok make his first apperance for South Korea?
Lee Kang-in and Paik Seung-ho both went off injured against Oman meaning that there is now a potential chance for Yang to be used.
The 18-year-old remains unlikely to start but with Lee now unaalible, there is a good chance that the Tottenham loanee could come off the bench on Tuesday.
