You’d better be right, man.

At this point in time, Bayern Munich have clearly reached the business end of the season and will need to focus hard to achieve glory at the end of the season The gap in the Bundesliga has shrunk to 6 points and Inter Milan stand in the way of progressing in the Champions League. The last thing Bayern needs now is for their players to get hurt.

So naturally, that is exactly what happened.

Just 11 minutes into Canada’s clash with old rivals USA for third place in the CONCACAF Nations League, captain Alphonso Davies had to come off the field with an injury. But his reaction to the injury, as captured by @iMiaSanMia, was fairly positive, if vague:

Alphonso Davies is back from the dressing room with ice on his right knee – says he’s “good.”

Hopefully the doctor’s diagnosis will be as positive as Davies’. If not, he could miss the upcoming Bundesliga games against St. Pauli and Augsburg or even any of the Champions League clashes against Inter. Let us hope that will not be the case.
