Leaders Barcelona will welcome Osasuna to the Estadi Olimpic Lluis Companys for Thursday’s rescheduled La Liga contest.
The game was initially set to take place on March 8, but it was postponed following the death of Barcelona’s club doctor Carles Minarro Garcia.
Barcelona and Osasuna lodged appeals to have the fixture moved from March 27 due to their concerns about player welfare following the international window.
However, the Spanish Football Federation (RFEF) rejected the appeal, meaning players from both sides will have to contend with a quick turnaround from their international commitments.
Barcelona, who beat Atletico Madrid 4-2 in their last outing, have the chance to move three points clear of Clasico rivals Real Madrid, while Osasuna are looking to complete an unlikely league double over the Blaugrana after winning 4-2 in September’s reverse fixture.
Here, Sports Mole rounds up Barcelona’s injury and suspension news ahead of the clash with Osasuna, who are sitting in 14th spot with 33 points to their name.
