Back to Bundesliga action…
Bayern Munich is back in Bundesliga action this weekend when it hosts 15th-place St. Pauli.
With the visitors just barely out of the relegation danger zone, it can be assumed that they will try and pull out all the stops to earn at least a point against what could be a banged up Bayern Munich side.
Over the break, Manuel Neuer suffered a setback in his return from a calf injury, while Jonas Urbig picked a foot injury and Alphonso Davies picked up a knock playing for Canada. Right now, only Neuer is considered to be relatively serious, but it certainly will not make things easier for the weary Bavarians, who had many players active (and playing important roles for their respective countries) during the international break.
