That was nerve wracking…
Germany stormed out to a 3-0 lead, but ultimately only earned a 3-3 draw with Italy in leg two of the UEFA Nations League quarterfinals.
The Germans did advance 5-4 on aggregate, but that second half of Sunday’s match left some fans mad, others relieved, and maybe some others having their first semblance of doubt about head coach Julian Nagelsmann.
In the end, Germany moves on and that is the most important thing, but there are a lot of things to clean with the players and coaching staff alike.
BFW Community…tell us how you are feeling at the moment? I rated Germany with a 5.00/10.00 (1.00 is the lowest, 10.00 is the highest). The fast start was amazing, but some poor (and sloppy play), plus some questionable coaching decisions left me wanting to see a whole lot more from the Germans than what they put on display on Sunday.
