The Bayern Munich star will be happy to get some rest (and probably an ice bath or two)…

Bayern Munich star Jamal Musiala is probably happy to see Germany’s UEFA Nations League quarterfinals tie with Italy come to an end.

Musiala, who had a goal during the 3-3 draw on Sunday, was a primary target for Italy, but played a key role in helping Germany advance 5-4 on aggregate.

“We learned a lot from these two games. The first half was great — everything worked well, the mentality and energy were there. We should be keeping the same energy in the second half because teams like Italy can turn the game around. It was a good learning curve and we’ll take it into the semifinals,” said Musiala (as captured by @iMiaSanMia).

Musiala’s role against Italy was complex without Florian Wirtz to work with. Italy was able to physically puts its focus on Musiala, which seemed to take its toll on the budding star.
