Exclusive: What Viktor Gyokeres representatives are doing now after Nottingham Forest links

3 Min Read

TBR Football have now received an update involving Viktor Gyokeres – after the Swede was linked with a move to Nottingham Forest.

The Sporting CP No.9 has become one of the best strikers in Europe ever since swapping Coventry for Lisbon back in July 2023 – scoring 40 goals in just 41 appearances across all competitions so far this season.

Remarkably, the Sweden international is even on track to outdo his impressive total of 43 goals in 50 games from last term.

TBR Football understand Arsenal like Gyokeres and have been scouting the Scandinavian regularly since his move to Portugal, with the Gunners in need of a new striker.

However, Nottingham Forest have been mentioned as a potential destination in recent weeks, with the Reds on course to qualify for the UEFA Champions League this season.

TBR Football are aware that Nottingham Forest are looking to bolster their attacking department with European football likely to be on the schedule next season, and are keen to sign Wolves No.10 Matheus Cunha.

Brentford No.11 Yoane Wissa is also a target for the Reds, who looked at signing the DR Congo international during the winter transfer window.
