Liverpool is reportedly interested in signing Juventus left-back Andrea Cambiaso, who is also said to be attracting interest from Manchester City and Arsenal. Cambiaso, who can also operate as a winger, is reportedly valued at $70 million by Juventus and is also apparently on Bayern Munich’s radar.
Liverpool could be in the market for a new left-back this summer, with the club looking to the future as Andy Robertson turned 31 earlier this month. Kostas Tsimikas has failed to emerge as a genuine challenger for a spot in Liverpool’s best team and he will also enter his 30s next year.
Cambiaso joined Juventus in 2022 but spent his first season out on loan at Bologna. Since the start of last season, he has made 74 appearances for the Turin club.
Other left-backs that Liverpool has been linked with include Bournemouth’s Milos Kerkez and Wolves’ Rayan Ait-Nouri, with Kerkez in particular having been the subject of frequent transfer speculation.
Reds legend Robertson is experiencing his most difficult season — on a personal level — since moving to the club in 2017, leading many to speculate as to whether his best days might be behind him.
He endured a torrid night on international duty this week too, being partly culpable for two of Greece’s three goals at Hampden Park as Scotland was relegated from League A in the Nations League.

Speaking last, Robertson vowed that he would prove his doubters wrong: “I think we’ve been linked with pretty much every left-back in the world. That comes with playing with one of the greatest clubs in the world. I look back on these eight years I’ve had as the starting left-back at that club and I feel a lot of pride.
“Your time comes and I don’t think it’s my time yet but even if we do bring someone in, then so be it. I’ll always back myself. Sure, this season there have been a couple of moments when I haven’t covered myself in glory but some things have been taken way out of proportion.
“I think the performance levels have been there for me. I think I’ve had a relatively good season but one thing people will say about me is that I’ve been pretty consistent, so when you make a couple of mistakes, then people can talk. That’s the world we live in, that’s the Premier League Everyone has eyes on you, everyone has an opinion. It is what it is but I’m always confident in my ability. I’ve shown that right throughout my career but especially during my time at Liverpool.”
