The Brazilian is also at the fag end of his career and United want to get a younger replacement for him. Amorim has depended on the likes of Manuel Ugarte, Bruno Fernandes, and Kobbie Mainoo as the first-choice central midfielders.
The club also plan to keep the wages of all players below £200,000-a-week and Casemiro currently gets £350,000 per week. Therefore, United are ready to move on from him, but his high wages have fended off interest from potential suitors.
