Arsenal, Liverpool and Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly among the clubs interested in signing rising Serie A star Gustav Isaksen during the summer transfer window.

Attacking changes could be afoot at all three clubs at the end of the 2024-25 season, where the indomitable Salah is still on course to leave Liverpool on a free transfer.

The Reds have supposedly now lost Trent Alexander-Arnold to Real Madrid, but they remain intent on tying Salah and fellow key cog Virgil van Dijk down to new deals when the campaign is over.

However, all of Federico Chiesa, Luis Diaz, Diogo Jota and Darwin Nunez have also been linked with exits from Anfield, while Arsenal will lose ex-Reds attacker and current Chelsea loanee Raheem Sterling this summer.

The Gunners also have a big decision to make over Leandro Trossard, who is out of contract in 2026, and it has been claimed that it would be ‘shocking’ if both he and Gabriel Martinelli were still at the club next season.

Meanwhile, Spurs recently extended Son Heung-min‘s deal, but the captain is also due to leave at the end of next season, and they will not exercise their option to sign Timo Werner from RB Leipzig permanently either.

As all three clubs scour the market for wide options, La Lazio Siamo Noi claims that ‘indispensable’ Lazio attacker Isaksen is a potential option for all of Arsenal, Aston Villa, Spurs and Liverpool this summer.

The 22-year-old left FC Midtjylland in Denmark to join the Italian giants for €13.4m (£11.2m) in 2023 and has quickly become a mainstay of Marco Baroni‘s XI, playing 39 times in all tournaments this term.

Isaksen has managed five goals and five assists for Lazio over the course of the 2024-25 season and is starting to make waves internationally too, scoring against Switzerland and Spain in the UEFA Nations League last year.

Isaksen’s Lazio deal runs until the summer of 2028, and club president Claudio Lotito is supposedly ready to ask for at least €50m (£41.7m) to let him depart in the upcoming market, and they are also said to be planning contract talks with the Scandinavian.

The report adds that no club has made a firm offer to Lazio for Isaksen just yet, and interested parties have not gone further than ‘expressing their interest’ to the winger’s entourage.

Isaksen is not only believed to be on the radar of the Premier League quartet, as fellow Italian giants Inter Milan and Spanish titans Atletico Madrid are also running the rule over his performances.

However, both the Nerazzurri and Rojiblancos would not be able to match the spending power of their English counterparts, who are therefore at the head of the queue at this moment in time.

Isaksen has been deployed in a variety of attacking positions throughout the early stages of his career, including through the middle and on the left, but the 22-year-old’s best work comes from the right flank.

Lazio will soon take on Bodo/Glimt in the quarter-finals of the Europa League, which could precede a semi-final showdown with one of Isaksen’s reported admirers Tottenham, who meet Eintracht Frankfurt in the final four.
